We've scanned an industry-standard linear scale micrometer and uploaded it to our digital platform. As you zoom in and out of the slide, the scalebar will adjust accordingly to the measurement. Note: The slide includes metric AND imperial measurements. For reference, we've included a screenshot of scalebar on the micrometer slide at 500 µm, 1 mm, and 2 mm.

We don’t recommend downloading since these are gigabyte sized files and other viewers may not be able to provide the standard of image quality and analysis tools as HistoWiz. If you choose to download the slides for compliance or image analysis purposes, you can view the slides by using ImageScope (Windows) or QuPath(Mac) for brightfield images, and CaseViewer for immunofluorescent images. They are free slide viewer programs that you can download.

All staining procedures performed at HistoWiz, Inc, using the Leica Bond RX automated stainer (Leica Microsystems), a Standard Operating Procedure, and a fully automated workflow. Samples were processed, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned at ___ μm. Slides were dewaxed using xylene and alcohol based dewaxing solutions. Epitope retrieval was performed by heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) of the formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue using citrate-based pH 6 or EDTA-based pH 9 solution (Manufacturer, catalog number) for ___ minutes at ___°C. Endogenous peroxidase was blocked using peroxide block buffer (Manufacturer). Tissue was incubated with the ___ antibody (Manufacturer, catalog number) at various dilution for ___ minutes, followed by DAB rabbit secondary reagents: polymer, DAB refine and hematoxylin (Manufacturer, catalog number) according to the manufacturer's protocol. The slides were dried, coverslipped (name of coversipper) and visualized using a ___ slide scanner (Manufacturer) at 40X.
